Part five. I didn't want to include this section because I didn't like the art and a friend that likes the comic told me it was comparatively weaker than the rest of it(More incentive to keep it out!). I was planning on drawing it over and inserting it back into the story, but, as you can see, that never happened. The art is bad in this chapter. The problems I had with the ink in the previous two - the pages are full of pink ink leakage now - led me to move away from pens completely. So I pulled put a cro-quill or whatever its caused and used that, since it uses the same ink I wash with, the problems with bleeding wouldn't occur. Well, the line thickness just came out weird, and the washes in it are poor in comparison, as well. I don't know how to explain that though. Perhaps it was lack of effort as I drew this section during a time when I was attempting to put out as many pages as possible in the smallest amount of time. Circumstances were conspiring against me, or some such. It doesn't matter though. I let some people read the book and they didn't have any problems with the section, even after I asked them about it, so I figured maybe I ought to just put it on and get it over with. Alright, that's settled. This is my "video game reference" chapter. I don't remember why I put them in as it was all drawn several months ago, but there they are. There's a nod to a fictitious Kunio kun arcade game, and the toy the girls love in the Novelty Get machine is from "Puzzle n' Death(spelled as desu on the interweb)" which includes the subtitle: "Super Ultimate Cool Puzzle Game". Perhaps it doesn't say Super, but that doesn't matter. That odd title is the only reason I tried out the game, and its one of my favorites of the sort now.I needed something to fill the Novelty machine with so I pulled out some boxes to find some things to draw. I ended up calling it a "Novelty Get" machine because I couldn't remember the term "UFO catcher". Ah well. Hopefully this chapter is interesting. That's it!
